Leaded and Bevelled Glass

It is nearly impossible to capture the life that these leaded glass windows give. The photograph only allows for a moment while in life the windows provide a constantly changing filter of light. The windows create different responses to cloudy days than sunny ones- they're different from morning to evening and different through every season. The bevelled glass in these panels throw refracted light like a kaleidoscope throughout the foyer.

A year later the homeowners commissioned me to continue the design into a window on the second floor landing- but this time they wanted more color. I added a band of "rust" colored glass with the amber I used in the front entryway windows.
