Hi Johnny!
I love this piece...and I just wanted to tell you I have enjoyed surfing around your site this morning. Hope you are doing well, I miss our funny chats in the art store.

Laurie Blayney of Spot 5 Art Studio here in Louisville asked me to help her create a table for "Dinnerworks"- an annual event where artists nationally are invited to create plateware and local artists/interior designers/decorators are asked to create a space around that plateware. This is followed by a black tie dinner and a month of events where the public gets to put in their ballots for "best of..." Our table came in second. Sigh.
We set in glass mosaic tiles, burned the outside frame, stained, painted and sealed the whole thing only to find that it is too big to fit in anyone's dining room (we did have to seat eight people). Currently it is now a wall peice that brings to mind images of Klimt's work- only much heavier.
