I've been enamored with the idea of trying to sketch in glass. Working with artist/illustrator Andy Caylor has been a tremendous experience in design and execution. To sit down and figure out what will work and what might work if we try something new or differently has had a profound effect on the way I approach every project. There are difficulties in glass design that with a little time and careful thought can be overcome. That process is incredibly enjoyable and, when it concludes with a finished piece, immensely satisfying.

 Of course, sometimes you just make a really sharp mess.
