After six years of selling cars and working in construction I was tired of feeling like I was passively letting my life happen.
I never said I wanted to be a car salesman when I was a kid.
So, at 28, I answered an ad looking for apprentices in stained glass.
Quite honestly, I never said I wanted to do that when I was a kid either.
I liked to make stuff and they taught me how to cut glass and build some really pretty windows.
A few years later my family made the move to Louisville, KY, and in 2005 I stepped out on my own. Since then, I've been fortunate enough to have been involved in some large commercial projects and normal sized residential jobs.
Each is approached in the same way- figure a design that represents the owner and make it fantastic.
